Who Am I?

Hi, my name's Thayer Vinton. I'm currently attending CALarts where I'm pursuing a degree in music composition with a concentration in film scoring. I was previously studying animation at SCAD before transferring, it's a medium I still have a great deal of affection for.

Why Music?

So I live in LA but I actually grew up in a pretty rural part of Connecticut called Easton. Back then a go-to pass time was throwing on some music, staring at a tree, and daydreaming. I’m happy to report that I kept daydreaming and eventually took some piano lessons; a chemical reaction that sparked a deep love for music composition.
