The story this piece is built on centers around moments of intimacy, heartbreak, and subsequent healing. Given that premise and the direction given to me by the creator Elmay White, I opted for minimal instrumentation to reflect the tone of the short. ​

With the help of my violinist friend and peer at CALarts Dylan Reed, we recorded many, many layers of strings that I later patched together to get the final result. As is often the case with animated content, a fair amount of the full timecode was cut down due to time constraints so I'll attach the full score below.
