My Hands Are Delicious
This is an animated short film I worked on over the course of spring break in 2026.
Process
Needless to say, this is a departure from the other scores I've done as I was responsible for writing and animating on top of music. Much of the of writing process took place on the piano bench as I'd think about the story while playing along to it on the keys. I wish I had the storyboards to show you but I lost the note book they're in... I know it's very sad to me too.
On the music side of things, I took a lot of inspiration from the Harold Budd/Brian Eno collaborations, and in particular the track 'An Arc of Doves' off the album 'Ambient 2'. I listened to the tune as a placeholder while I animated to get into the head of the little stick man.
